Lima: Private Full-Day Shore Excursion

Callao Port – Pachacamac – Historic Lima – Miraflores – Callao Port (9 hours)

9:30 a.m. – Pickup at Callao Port
We pick you up at Callao Port and drive to the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary, located in the Lurín Valley, south of Lima.

Visit to Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary
We explore Pachacamac, one of the most important religious and ceremonial centers of ancient Peru. Located on the right bank of the Lurín River, the archaeological complex covers approximately 200 hectares.

The sanctuary developed over many centuries, beginning before the Inca period and continuing under Inca rule. It was an important pilgrimage destination dedicated to the deity Pachacamac. Following the Spanish conquest, the site was looted, and its famous wooden idol was destroyed.

We walk through different sections of the complex, including the Acllahuasi, also known as the Temple of the Moon, the Plaza of the Pilgrims, and the Temple of the Sun.

1:20 p.m. – Drive to Lima’s Historic Center
We leave Pachacamac and head toward Lima’s historic center.

2:00 p.m. – Lunch at a Local Restaurant
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Suggested options include Alfresco or Pescados Capitales. Lunch is at your own expense unless otherwise specified in your booking.

3:00 p.m. – Lima City Tour
We begin our walking tour at the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), the historic heart of Lima. We visit Lima Cathedral and continue to the San Francisco Church and its famous catacombs. We also visit Santo Domingo Church, an important monument of Lima’s colonial heritage.

Miraflores and the Pacific Ocean
We continue to the modern district of Miraflores, stopping at the Miraflores Lighthouse and Parque del Amor (Love Park), famous for its sculptures and spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.

5:50 p.m. – Return to Callao Port
We depart Miraflores and drive back to Callao Port.

6:30 p.m. – Arrival at Callao Port
We arrive at the port, concluding our approximately nine-hour private shore excursion.

Cancellation for Shore Excursions:
– For services provided for passengers from Cruises we will reimburse 100% percent of the deposit if the Port is closed due to climate conditions or reasons of force majeure.

– We will reimburse 100% percent of the deposit if a notification of cancellation is received until 6 days before the arrival.

– No reimbursement will be made if the notification of cancellation is received 5 days before the arrival.
