Day 1 – Lima to Cusco: Flight and Cusco City Tour

We will arrange your transfer from the designated cruise port to Lima Airport, according to your confirmed itinerary and port of arrival. From Lima, you will fly to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you will enjoy a guided city tour featuring some of Cusco’s most important historical and archaeological landmarks.

Places to visit:

• Cusco Cathedral: Admire the architecture and religious art of this landmark overlooking the Main Square.

• Coricancha: Explore the important Inca religious complex whose foundations were incorporated into the colonial-era Convent of Santo Domingo.

Day 2 – Machu Picchu: The Lost City of the Incas

After breakfast, transfer to the train station to board your train to Aguas Calientes, the town located below Machu Picchu.

Upon arrival, your guide will assist you with the transfer to the shuttle bus for the approximately 30-minute journey up the winding mountain road to the citadel.

Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its extraordinary architecture and spectacular mountain setting. Depending on the authorized visitor circuit, your visit may include important areas such as the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Three Windows, and other ceremonial and architectural features.

After the guided visit, you will have time according to the schedule and applicable visitor regulations before taking the bus back to Aguas Calientes.

You can enjoy lunch and explore the town before boarding the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Cusco.

Day 3 – Cusco to Lima and Transfer to Your Cruise Port

After breakfast, transfer to Cusco Airport for your return flight to Lima.

Upon arrival, continue with the transfer arrangements confirmed for your cruise port and departure schedule.

This final day concludes your Machu Picchu expedition, combining the cultural heritage of Cusco with the unforgettable experience of visiting the ancient Inca citadel.

Cancellations and Reimbursements for Shore Excursions to Machu Picchu:
– If a notification of cancellation is received until 30 days before the tour, the full deposit is reimbursed after discounting administrative costs.

– If a notification of cancellation is received until 29 -20 days before the estimated date of arrival in Peru, the reimbursement is subject to a penalty of 30% of the total cost.

– No reimbursement will be made if the notification of cancellation is received 19 days before the date of arrival or in the case of a no-show by passenger(s) or for cancellations made during the trip itself.
