Itinerary:
Trujillo City Tour – Historic Center and Archaeological Museum
The Trujillo City Tour begins at the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), where our tour guide will explain the historical and architectural development of the city.
We will stop in front of the Monument to Liberty, inaugurated in 1929. Next, we will visit the Cathedral of Trujillo, famous for its beautiful altarpieces and religious artwork. We will then continue to the Garci HolguÃn Mansion, which features some of the oldest murals in the city.
We will also visit the Urquiaga House, currently associated with the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. This historic mansion is famous for having hosted the Liberator Simón BolÃvar, who stayed there for several days. Please note that the house is closed to visitors in the afternoon.
We will walk along Pizarro Street, a pedestrian street in the historic center, stopping along the way to visit La Merced Church and the Emancipation House, known for its beautiful Neoclassical windows.
Continuing our tour, we will visit Iturregui Palace, which houses Club Central, before arriving at El Recreo Square, where Trujillo’s former water supply system was once located.
Finally, we will visit the Archaeological Museum of the National University of Trujillo, located in the Risco House. This visit will provide an overview of the region’s pre-Hispanic history and cultural development, including the remarkable civilizations of the Moche and Chimú.

• If a notification of cancellation is received until 2 days before the tour, the full deposit is reimbursed after discounting administrative costs.
• No reimbursement will be made if the notification of cancellation is received less than 48 hours before the tour or in the case of a no-show by passenger(s) or for cancellations made during the trip itself.
